EXOFAST is a fast transit and/or RV fitter for a single planet. This
online applet interfaces directly with the downloadable IDL-based
EXOFAST library, which can be installed
with SVN or downloaded as a tarball
and all of the documentation can be found here. The source code is
capable of full DE-MCMC fitting (we only allow the best fit with
AMOEBA here, to minimize stress on our servers). Note that this source
code requires the IDL
Astronomy User's library. We also use a few routines from other
libraries (including Marc Buie's
Library), which we include with our distribution. Mouse over any
field label to see a short description. A complete description of the
inputs and outputs is available. If you're encountering
errors and you don't know what to do, look at this walkthrough for HAT-P-3b. If it hangs for
longer than 7 minutes, this is a bug -- please send me an email.
